Planika FLA4 Flogs and Flogs+ combine an automatic BEV® bioethanol burner and realistic ceramic logs into a ready-to-use fireplace solution. This solution brings the atmosphere of a traditional fireplace to a modern interior without the limitations of a traditional chimney.

Flogs is available in widths of 790 and 990 mm. The Flogs+ version features a larger fuel tank and offers a significantly longer burn time between refills.

Please note during the planning phase that all Flogs bio-burners must always be installed so that one of the longer sides is against a wall.

Innovative touch panel

With the FLA4 Flogs bio-fireplace touch panel, you can easily control your fireplace and monitor its operation from a single location. You can start and stop the fire, adjust the flame intensity, and track the fuel level. The panel also features a timer-based shutdown and a child lock. The Flogs bio-burner also comes with a remote control and the option to control the device via your smartphone, as well as optional smart home integration.

Auto-fill – easy and controlled

Planika's automatic filling system makes adding bioethanol easy and safe. The pump transfers the fuel directly into the tank and stops automatically when the tank is full. This ensures filling is done without spilling or overfilling. Automatic pump as standard equipment.

NET ZERO fireplace

Planika bio-fires equipped with BEV technology offer a net-zero emission combustion process, producing only a small amount of CO2, comparable to human respiration. Planika's high-quality bioethanol is produced from corn, wheat, or potatoes. These plants absorb CO2, which supports its continuous cycle in nature. Thanks to this, these innovative fireplaces can also be used in cities where fossil fuel emissions are regulated or prohibited.

BEV® TECHNOLOGY - CONTROLLED COMBUSTION PROCESS

Planika's patented, state-of-the-art BEV® technology is based on a controlled combustion process of bioethanol vapor. The bioethanol is stored in a sealed tank, from which only the required amount is fed into the vaporizer. The vaporized fuel is led to the burner where it combusts – the flame is not in direct contact with the liquid bioethanol.

The entire combustion process is controlled by a microprocessor that utilizes several sensors and monitors the fireplace’s operation. The automatic system allows for controlled ignition, shutdown, and flame adjustment.

BEV® technology produces no smoke, soot, or ash and does not require a flue. This provides more freedom in fireplace placement and makes it possible to introduce a real fire even into modern interiors where a traditional chimney-based fireplace would not be possible.

SAFE QUALITY

For over 20 years, Planika has been developing the safety of bioethanol fireplaces. The FLA4 bio-burner includes multiple systems that monitor the operation of the fireplace and react to abnormal situations.

TEMPERATURE SENSORS

Multiple temperature sensors monitor the heat-generating areas of the fireplace and react quickly to unwanted temperature changes.

FUEL LEVEL SENSOR

The fuel level is constantly monitored. If the level in the tank drops too low, the FLA4 shuts down automatically and notifies the user of the situation.

SEISMIC SENSOR

The seismic sensor shuts down the fireplace if it detects abnormal vibrations or, for example, if the device is bumped.

LEAKAGE SENSOR

The system detects a potential fuel leak and reacts to it automatically.

DURABLE CONSTRUCTION

The burner's top plate and fuel tank are made of stainless steel. Products undergo mechanical, chemical, and temperature resistance tests.

FUEL RETURN SYSTEM

Any unused liquid fuel is returned from the vaporizer back to the fuel tank. The same function is activated if the fireplace detects an abnormal situation and shuts down automatically.

WHERE CAN A PLANIKA BIO-FIREPLACE BE INSTALLED?

Planika bioethanol fireplaces are designed for a variety of interior applications. The suitable solution depends on the fireplace model and the method of installation. Always follow the installation instructions for the specific product when installing.

DOES A PLANIKA BIO-FIREPLACE NEED A FLUE?

Planika fireplaces based on BEV® technology do not require flue gas extraction or a traditional chimney.

DOES A PLANIKA FIREPLACE REQUIRE A VENTILATION DUCT?

A separate ventilation duct is not normally required, but the ventilation of the space must meet the requirements of the product and the building.

WHAT FUEL IS USED IN A BIO-FIREPLACE?

Planika fireplaces use high-quality liquid bioethanol suitable for the purpose. The fuel must meet the manufacturer's requirements.

CAN THE FLAME INTENSITY BE ADJUSTED?

Yes. BEV® technology allows for controlled flame adjustment depending on the product model.

CAN THE FIREPLACE BE CONTROLLED WITH A REMOTE CONTROL OR A SMARTPHONE?

In many Planika models, the fireplace can be controlled via remote control, a touch panel, and/or a mobile app. With optional accessories, you can also connect your Planika fireplace to your smart home system. Features vary by model.

DOES THE FIREPLACE PRODUCE SMOKE OR ASH?

Combustion based on BEV® technology produces no smoke, soot, or ash, so it does not cause mess and is perfectly suited for allergy-friendly spaces.

CAN A PLANIKA BIO FIREPLACE BE INSTALLED BY ONESELF?

The installation method depends on the product and the project, and it can often be done yourself. Fixed and integrated solutions must be implemented according to the manufacturer's installation instructions. During the planning phase, we are happy to help you determine the appropriate solution and implementation.

ARE DESIGN FILES AVAILABLE FOR PLANIKA FIREPLACES?

Yes. DWG drawings and 3D objects, among other things, are available for architects and designers. The materials are provided upon request.
