A single Solamagic or Etherma glass terrace heater provides comfortable warmth for a glazed area of up to 16 m2. The recommended average ceiling height is a maximum of 3000 mm.

If you wish to extend the usage period of your glazed space even further, you can choose multiple radiant heaters - this does not mean "oversizing," but rather provides you with a power reserve that you can utilize as the weather cools with the changing seasons.

WINTER USE AND GLAZING U-VALUE

WHY IS GLASS TERRACE HEATING NOT SIZED FOR WINTER FREEZING TEMPERATURES?

Glass terrace heating is not intended to produce normal indoor temperatures in cold winter weather, especially if the glazing is made with single glass, which has a poor U-value - because the heat loss is simply too great.

Therefore, for example, 2-3 radiant heaters can be justifiably chosen for a 15 m² glass terrace.

Note that the heaters are not always used at full power or all at the same time - they are used to create a power reserve, flexibility and user comfort - not excessive power.
