Planika Cinema Bioethanol Fireplace - Media Wall

Planika Cinema is a ready-to-install Media Wall unit that combines a television and a real flame into one striking interior design element.

Cinema is designed for a 55” television and an accompanying soundbar. The unit includes a pre-built structure, eliminating the need for the separate wall structure design typically required for integrated solutions.

For the fire source, you can choose between the Prime Fire 2.0, FLA4, FLA4+, or the FLOGS solution. The FLA4 offers a minimalist linear flame line, while the FLOGS brings the look of a traditional fireplace to the unit with realistic decorative logs. The FLA4+ and FLOGS+ versions offer a larger fuel tank and longer operating time.

Cinema utilizes Planika’s BEV® Technology, an automatic refilling system, and control features depending on the chosen burner. No chimney is required. Cinema is intended for indoor use only.

MEDIA WALL WITH AUTOMATIC BEV® BIO-BURNER

CINEMA is a modern media wall. Thanks to advanced BEV® (Burning Ethanol Vapours) technology, which burns ethanol vapours to ensure the flame never comes into direct contact with the liquid fuel, you can safely install your television directly above the flames. This allows you to enjoy large-scale entertainment and a cosy atmosphere in one integrated solution.

This model offers a variety of bio-burner options to suit any interior, need, or budget. You can choose the FLA4 version for a minimalist line of fire or the FLOGS variant, which features decorative logs that mimic the look of a traditional fireplace. For those seeking maximum performance, there is also a version with an extra-large fuel tank, offering up to 27 hours of continuous burning. Additionally, the model can be equipped with a Prime Fire 2.0 linear burner.

FLOGS burner brings the look of a traditional fireplace

The FLOGS burner is designed to replicate the visual depth and authenticity of a traditional fireplace. Realistic ceramic logs are placed amidst high, dynamic flames, creating a natural and immersive fire experience.  

Although the appearance is classic, the burner operates using clean-burning bioethanol technology. The result is a fire that feels familiar and natural, while simultaneously meeting the demands of contemporary architecture and modern interiors.  

FLOGS is the result of advanced research and development, and a patent has been applied for, highlighting its innovative nature and unique features.

Connect media devices securely

The CINEMA media wall is designed as a versatile and secure media solution. Its structure includes a mount for a 55” television and a special shelf designed, for example, for a soundbar.

Regardless of the burner model selected, the careful design of the unit ensures the safety of your media devices. The special design ensures that heat or moisture do not pose a risk to sensitive electronic components.

Innovative touch panel

With the Forma bioethanol fireplace's touch panel, you can easily control the fireplace and monitor its operation from one place. You can start and stop the fire, adjust the flame intensity, and track the fuel level. The panel also features a sleep timer and a child lock. The Forma bio-burner always comes with a remote control and the option to operate the device with your own smartphone. The PRIME FIRE 2.0 burner does not have a touch panel.

Quick installation

The Cinema solution is almost ready for installation, which simplifies the process. Integrated ventless fireplaces do not need to be connected to a chimney, and existing structures do not necessarily require any modifications. Thanks to this, you can create a stylish media wall in as little as 30 minutes without a major renovation.

BEV® TECHNOLOGY - CONTROLLED COMBUSTION PROCESS

Planika's patented, state-of-the-art BEV® technology is based on a controlled combustion process of bioethanol vapor. The bioethanol is stored in a sealed tank, from which only the required amount is fed into the vaporizer. The vaporized fuel is led to the burner where it combusts – the flame is not in direct contact with the liquid bioethanol.

The entire combustion process is controlled by a microprocessor that utilizes several sensors and monitors the fireplace’s operation. The automatic system allows for controlled ignition, shutdown, and flame adjustment.

BEV® technology produces no smoke, soot, or ash and does not require a flue. This provides more freedom in fireplace placement and makes it possible to introduce a real fire even into modern interiors where a traditional chimney-based fireplace would not be possible.

SAFE QUALITY

Planika's bio fireplaces have been developed with technology and construction that offer their users the highest level of safety. This means taking into account every possible human error that could occur during the heating or refueling process.

For over 20 years, Planika has been developing the safety of bioethanol fireplaces. The bio-burner equipped with BEV technology contains several systems that monitor the fireplace's operation and react to abnormal situations.

TEMPERATURE SENSORS

Multiple temperature sensors monitor the heat-generating areas of the fireplace and react quickly to undesirable temperature changes.

FUEL LEVEL SENSOR

The fuel level is continuously monitored. If the level in the tank drops too low, the FLA4 shuts down automatically and notifies the user of the situation.

SHAKE SENSOR

The shake sensor shuts down the fireplace if it detects abnormal vibration or, for example, the device being struck.

LEAKAGE SENSOR

The system detects any potential fuel leakage and reacts to it automatically.

DURABLE CONSTRUCTION

The burner's top plate and fuel tank are made of stainless steel. The products undergo mechanical, chemical, and temperature resistance tests.

FUEL RETURN SYSTEM

Unused liquid fuel is returned from the vaporizer back to the fuel tank. The same function is activated if the fireplace detects an abnormal situation and shuts down automatically.

CAN A TELEVISION BE INSTALLED DIRECTLY ABOVE A FIREPLACE?

Yes. Cinema is designed so that a television can be placed directly above the fire. The structure features a specifically designed space for a 55” television, and the entire unit is engineered to protect the television and other electronics from heat and moisture.

IS CINEMA A COMPLETE SYSTEM OR DOES IT NEED TO BE BUILT BY YOURSELF?

Cinema is a complete Media Wall solution, delivered almost ready for installation. Its structure includes a mount for the television and a separate shelf for a soundbar or subwoofer.

WHICH BULB CAN I CHOOSE?

Cinema is available with Prime Fire 2.0, FLA4, or FLA4 FLOGS burners. The suitable option depends on factors such as the desired operating time, control features, and budget.

DOES THE CINEMA REQUIRE A CHIMNEY?

No. Cinema uses Planika's BEV® technology and does not require a chimney.

HOW LONG DOES CINEMA LAST ON A SINGLE FILL?

The operating time depends on the selected burner. With the FLA4 990 model, the operating time is up to approximately 8 hours, and with the FLA4+ model, up to 26 hours. With the FLOGS+ version, the operating time is up to 27 hours. The operating time of Prime Fire 2.0 is up to approximately 8 hours.

CAN CINEMA BE INSTALLED IN ANY SPACE?

Cinema is intended for indoor use only. The minimum room volume depends on the chosen burner; for example, for the FLA4 and Prime Fire 2.0 versions, the minimum volume specified by Planika is 70 m³.

WHAT FUEL IS USED IN A BIO-FIREPLACE?

Planika fireplaces use high-quality liquid bioethanol suitable for the purpose. The fuel must meet the manufacturer's requirements.

CAN THE FLAME INTENSITY BE ADJUSTED?

Yes. BEV® technology allows for controlled flame adjustment depending on the product model.

CAN THE FIREPLACE BE CONTROLLED WITH A REMOTE CONTROL OR A SMARTPHONE?

In many Planika models, the fireplace can be controlled via remote control, a touch panel, and/or a mobile app. With optional accessories, you can also connect your Planika fireplace to your smart home system. Features vary by model.

DOES THE FIREPLACE PRODUCE SMOKE OR ASH?

Combustion based on BEV® technology produces no smoke, soot, or ash, so it does not cause mess and is perfectly suited for allergy-friendly spaces.

CAN A PLANIKA BIO FIREPLACE BE INSTALLED BY ONESELF?

The installation method depends on the product and the project, and it can often be done yourself. Fixed and integrated solutions must be implemented according to the manufacturer's installation instructions. During the planning phase, we are happy to help you determine the appropriate solution and implementation.

ARE DESIGN FILES AVAILABLE FOR PLANIKA FIREPLACES?

Yes. DWG drawings and 3D objects, among other things, are available for architects and designers. The materials are provided upon request.
